Ryan Graves

Former Navy F/A-18F Pilot, Founder of Americans for Safe Aerospace
Military / Intel
Lieutenant Ryan Graves is a former U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet pilot who served with VFA-11 "Red Rippers." He reported that his squadron encountered unidentified aerial objects on an almost daily basis during training flights off the East Coast between 2014 and 2015. The objects demonstrated flight characteristics beyond known technology, including the ability to remain stationary in high winds and accelerate to hypersonic speeds. Graves testified before Congress in 2023 and founded Americans for Safe Aerospace to advocate for aviation safety reporting of UAP encounters.
