Luis "Lue" Elizondo is a former U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent and the former director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a secretive Pentagon program that investigated UAP from 2007 to 2012. He resigned from the Department of Defense in 2017 in protest over excessive secrecy and what he described as internal efforts to suppress UAP information. His departure and subsequent public disclosures helped catalyze the modern UAP transparency movement. He joined To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science and has been a key figure in pushing for government disclosure.
